My favourite part of the circus is THE AMAZING COLOURS…multicoloured tent, baby pink fairy floss, hologram costumes etc! I have a huge folder on my desktop with circus carnival images…I would like to make drawings of the circus one day!

i reckon my favourite part of the circus are the trapeze artists! they’re so daring and brave and amazing!

I would say I love how the circus always seem so vivid and also the flexibility of the tight rope performers. The animals and clowns make me feel that I’ve escaped from reality, it feels like I’m in an entirely different world where there’s just happiness and colours. =D
i’ve never been to a circus before! do we even have one in Sg? but im really attracted to the bright colours from what i know from tv shows!
I love the animals involve.
Sometimes watching the movie dumbo makes me sad.

i’ve never been to the circus before, but i’m pretty sure i’ll love the juggling acts. plus, i’ve been lusting after these fabulous gmarket circus stamps for quite a while now! they’re so pretty (:
like most of the above comments, i’ve yet been to a proper circus with all the amazing acts but i reckon my favourite part of the circus would be all the fire-eating/juggling/trapeze/tight-rope acts! its always thrilling to watch people do those stunts, even if i end up hurting myself horribly if i tried. :p

It’s so nice of you to give out the stamps.=)I remembered when went to the circus at Hong Kong, I was so fancinated by the circus monkeys aas they could do amazing staunts.Its really cool and shocking.The entrance fee was around 18.00 when converted back to sing dollars.Pray hard..hope that i will be the lucky winner.=)God bless u too.

hmm. i don’t think we have circuses in sg…but we try to! i think our pasar malams…the ones in the past used to have some circus elements…like the rides, prizes given away…
but i think if i were to really pick an element that i really like, i think i’ll be bananas over the food. candy floss, cinnamon rings, candied apples…

The stamps are adorable! My favourite part has got to be the stalls selling bright pink cotton candy and popcorn, to me they represent little mounds of edible happiness

My favourite part of the circus would be the tent or building itself. I LOVE the classic red and white stripes of the tent and the cicular shape is just so cool! Cirque d’hiver in Paris has the most enchanting one!

i’m always fascinated with circus! the acrobats, clowns, animals, trapeze, jugglers.. love the series of acts that are choreographed to music as well.
if i don’t win this, i have to find my way to get my hands on some of these adorable stamps.
for me it’s entering the huge tent and hearing all the cheers on whatever act is currently showing. the roar of the audience really excites me!

i don’t recall ever catching a circus live, it’s not a popular culture here in singapore ): however, i believe i would enjoy the clowns the most (: they’re cheeky and exaggerated, it’ll be a joy to watch!

i love everything! it brings back so much childhood memories. there was this huge circus near my place when i was young and i remember going to the fire eating show, the clowns, circus rides and the magic shows!
i want to DIY my own party invitation cards with the stamps!

my mum was beside me when I was surfing your blog in the living room, and I asked her if she remembers bringing me to the circus when we were young.. and she did!
It was a big tent located at the open field beside Parkway Parade (before the condos came) and ironically… I don’t remember much of the acts. What I can recall is the anticipation of going to the circus (I’m sure there were animals!) and YES! I do remember the clowns! mama got me a little clown toy when the show ended. It had big puffy yellow pants and a silly smile 
no idea where the toy is now 
I’m glad to have visited the circus once in my life though the memories are no longer vivid. come to think of it, circuses are kinda getting extinct? cos of animal rights? and kids prefer ’stuffed animals’ like barney? (though that’s a dino!) and yes, I do wish to receive the stamp set 
it’ll be kinda neat to do some craft with it with my little nephew and intro him to the circus world! 
my favourite part is the aerial aspect- the silks, the trapeze.. the element of freedom in flight is just breathtaking and beautiful.

dumbo and rainbow buntings!! I don’t remember going to a circus when I was younger.
I grew up reading Dumbo and I really want to visit a real circus in this lifetime. Maybe I will meet my Dumbo there? ;D
My favorite part of the circus is the acrobats. So breathtaking! And the elephants. I really love elephants, they are so fascinating, even though it hurts to see them in captivity.
and cirque de soleil has always fascinated me as well.

My favourite part has to be how things you didn’t think was possible is made possible in the craziest, most colorful and outrageous way. From the stunts to the costumes to the tent itself. =))
i like cartoons with circuses. i like it when there’s the cute elephants, and acrobats doing their thing. everything is colorful and everyone seems happy.
so my favorite part of a circus is when the cartoon i watch is about one. in real life, i’ve never been to one, so yeah, it’s kinda sad.

Lions! How awesome are they. Albeit the fact that having them at circuses are a tad bit cruel but they’re still cool. And elephants. Although I don’t think any circus I’ve been to so far had elephants. But Lions>Elephants!

ahh, i’ve always wanted a stamp set but the ones i love are a tad expensive ($45) for a student like me. :\
my imaginary fav part (cos i’ve nvr been to one) would be the cute little dogs/puppies/piglets/ducklings performing stunts and waddling around the tent and then hearing the ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ of the crowd. sweet!
circuses have always been a little bit eerie for me, i was terrified watching Dumbo as a kid! but if i had to choose, it would be the trapeze artists because their art is so elegant!
It would have to be the awesome animals that can do all sorts of tricks and stunts! It’s awesome to me cause my pampered dog doesn’t even know how to respond to “SIT”!

What I love about the circus is the opportunity to eat delicious foods like fairy floss and popcorn. We shouldn’t need an excuse, but watching clowns and baby elephants seems to do the trick!

deep down i know its a happy place for us visitors & a sad place for the workers, because of working conditions, low pay and esp those poor “freak” show people etc.. but i do secretly wish that eventually they’ll find their happiness elsewhere.
