Good Monday to everyone! I’m doing the first entry of my official online Melbourne guide, though in this case it’s probably the Victoria Guide, cause I’m introducing Daylesford to you! Daylesford is about an hour out of Melbourne, with the travelling time depending on the traffic of course. :) It’s a very small town that is known for its spas and is a great location for weekend getaways or in our case, a day trip.

Your first pit stop would probably be the lake which is picturesque and serene, that’s if you minus the noisy quacking ducks who in my opinion are adorable but evil critters who chased me around quite a bit as if I was lunch. I wanted to make them lunch! XD

Here are photos from the Diana Mini!

Visit the Book Barn which has amazing collection of antique books! I wanted to buy the few school books from the 1920s however by then was pretty low on cash. lol

Hi loves! Just returned home from Melly’s birthday party and it was so much fun! I played my first game of charades, had a huge slice of the prettiest cake in the world and watched a Shark Week Documentary. Oh and help cook ingredients and ate many tacos! Can’t wait to share the video clips I took, with everyone! :D

Anyhoooos, I collected my three rolls of film today which by the way cost me $48 to process and be put in a disc… ARGGHS… but on the bright side, it came out pretty well. Not exceptionally great cause quite a few were blur, overexposed and had other booboos, but not too bad in general. In a particular roll I had shots taken with my Yashica in both Singapore and Melbourne I’d like to share with you loves!

Hey everyone! Wanna introduce you to my new sponsor, Teaspoon Vintage whose collection of homeware made me go “I want this. this. this and everything!” Actually I think it probably screams Karyn even more. hehe. I really want everything, unfortunately I’m very broke from Melbourne. :( Oh well, happy shopping loves!

Oh and p.s. The boss from Yashii Trading texted me saying that my entry about his shop on my blog brought him alot of business! I was so happy cause I hadn’t mentioned my blog to him so I assume a few of you had told him about it! Thank you very much and I am very glad I could share this gem of a shop with you all! xx

Hello loves! Thank you so much for all the moral support and suggestions as to how I might be able to sort all my thoughts out. I have lots to think about! :D

Anywhoo… I made a quick video with some footage Dawn and I took during my trip and it just so happens, almost all the clips are about food! No surprise really! The video is a little long-winded, so it might be better to load the whole thing first. (It’s quite self-indulgent really!) And sorry if the quality is quite questionable too cause I used my D90 (I’m suddenly inspired to get something more pro for video-making) and then had to compress it quite the bit.

Hope I didn’t make you too hungry! XD

Hi loves I’m back from Melbourne! And as much as I wish I could say I’m glad to be back home, I’m not really. I’m glad I could get to hug my parents and of course, momo, but other then that I think I am dreading it so far. Perhaps while it is still a debate as to whether I’m going to be graced the opportunity to study in Melbourne the following year, my soul has already left me and is there, probably in some quaint little cafe sipping cappuccino… Or in fact, decided to stay there while my body has unwillingly returned. And if you’re wondering what I’m intending to study… the course is entitled : Hospitality (Commercial Cooking), which basically teaches you the important fundamentals of cooking and every other nitty gritty thing you need to know to run a cafe or restaurant. It is the perfect thing for me if I do wanna continue chasing my dream of opening a cafe…

Of course, as much as I want to enroll right now, there’s a lot of consider. School fees, housing fees, getting a part-time job and actually everything related to money… And then there’s the probability that I’m going to have to find a job there and stay there for quite awhile or maybe the rest of my life… I know I might be getting ahead of myself, but I’m not the 19-year old who decided to study in London just cause it sounded like a 3 year adventure. This will definitely change my life forever and is a majorly big deal. It’s kind of difficult to convince my parents fully of my convictions cause I am still not 100% sure of this whole plan. I am quite terrified with all the “what if this doesn’t work out as planned” notions in my head…

Anyways that’s pretty much the biggest thing that going on in my life and I’d be happy to hear from you if you think it’s a yay or a nay. :)

Oh yesh, remember I told you loves that I carried 3 cameras around? I have photographic evidence as documented by my friend Lydia. :) Dawn, Lydia and I went on a roadtrip to Daylesford and as much as I wanna share the photos with you now, they are all being developed right now and hopefully I’ll receive them Friday. HOPEFULLY they come out decent. Oh and I got to drive half the way there. hehe.

Hello I’m from Lazy Jane and promised Sarah I’d  blog a post while she’s away. My mind’s a blank and I’ve not done anything fun but pack my room. Then I see the box of pins amassed over the years from places I’ve been led to or stumbled upon myself. There were old shops, hawker stalls, new shops with old things, nice old folks, pushy middle-agers. Good times.

Always had a weakness for birds, can’t go wrong.

Animals are trickier, not sure why.

Cute bugs are my current obsession, so icky interesting.

Same time, other stuff.

Righto that’s all, thanks Sarah for making me do something different and come back soon with more goodies!
